I’m gonna go with “shenanigans”.
-
@ryanweal I'm always in a burqa getting a screen shot of that!
-
Ok thanks for the lead-in @x11r5. Screen shot app recommendations? Must I root?
-
I seem to remember reading that screenshot-taking was built into ICS. Having not used it, though, I can’t be certain.
-
You mean I have to read the manual? That’s insane.
-
@ryanweal It wasn’t until I went to CM before I even seen the homescreen in landscape.
-
Possibly try Home+Power? If Samsung had any influence in the process, that’d be the most likely button-combo for that feature.
-
ah yes, that does the trick. Too bad I can’t see the file attach icon in my statusnet site though… theme went wonky when I tried to enable the desktop version
-
Ah, good to know. Can’t wait until either CM9+GalaxyS2 goes stable, or Samsung gets off their collective ass and releases an update. :(
-
@ryanweal Upload it via mustard. ;)
-
@psquid CM9 is gonna be really nice. All of the various ICS roms I’ve been running lately are great already.

Mustard screen http://status.kafei.ca/attachment/2143
-
Augh, clear your damn notification tray!
-
ah! that is what that thing is
-
Ah, this is your first Android phone, then? (I really can’t imagine someone not finding out what that is for the entire life of a phone.)
-
Yes, n00b here. Been running an ancient Nokia E71 until now
-
@ryanweal fixed the cache on the mobile view http://status.kafei.ca/attachment/2144
-
@ryanweal Ahh, that looks better. ;)
-
No thereading in mustard eh? Damn, that’s the best part of #statusnet
-
sadly, the mobile plugin breaks Realtime and InfiniteScroll. If you switch to desktop (on the device), it all works, but the viewport gets desktop screen resolution. IF you decide to switch back to mobile, realtime and scrolling work but you have to clear the cache to get the normal size back.
-
@ryanweal The object of the screen
-
@ryanweal Yeah. I think part if that is how the android browser handles (or doesn’t handle) javascript. :/
